We will complete each of the following objectives by the end of the year. Some will arrive quicker than others, but always keep them in mind:  We will create a classroom community that values thoughtful and insightful conversation, critical inquiry and analysis and respect and tolerance for each other’s opinions and ideas. We will examine and analyze some of the great pieces of world literature, drama and poetry with discerning eyes and intellectual curiosity. We will produce persuasive written documents that show our dedication to idea-based exploration of our own creativity. We will reflect with sensitivity and depth on ourselves, other people and the world in general and, by means of creative expression, apply these conclusions to our lives. We will compile a complete portfolio of work. We will read our poetry and prose aloud during three M Blocks, one per term.
